Cable News Network-Indian Broadcasting Network (CNN-IBN) is English-language news and current affairs channel. The channel is based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The channel is owned by TV18 Broadcast Limited (joint venture between NBCUniversal and Network18) and Turner International India (Time Warner Incorporated). The channel was started in December 2005 by one of India’s best journalist Rajdeep Sardesi after he left NDTV 24X7.

The channel is known for using a type of Indian English influenced by Hindi. The channels boosts shows like Devil’s Advocate hosted by Karan Thapar, The Last Word, Face the People by Sagarika Ghose, World View with Suhasini Haidar and Positive India by Karma Paljor. The channel is also home of famous movie critic Rajeev Masand.
